From September 1 to 2, 2026, Ma Chunxin, chairman of Nanling Auto and vice president of the Guangzhou Overseas Enterprises Chamber of Commerce, joined a Guangzhou business delegation for economic and trade exchanges in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The visit connected Guangzhou companies with local Chinese business leaders and public- and private-sector representatives while highlighting the international development experience behind Nanling Auto’s automotive business.

The delegation was led by Ye Li, deputy chair of the Guangzhou Overseas Friendship Association. According to materials provided for the visit, the programme focused on building a long-term communication mechanism, sharing local market experience and identifying practical opportunities for cooperation between enterprises in Guangzhou and Cambodia.
On September 1, the delegation visited the Cambodia Guangdong Chamber of Commerce for an economic and trade roundtable. Ma introduced the Guangzhou chamber’s work in supporting companies as they explore overseas markets and discussed the types of local information, contacts and coordination that enterprises need when entering a new market.
Ma noted that Guangzhou has a broad manufacturing and supply-chain base, while Cambodia provides an important connection to the wider ASEAN market. The discussion emphasized the value of cooperation between business associations: local partners can share operating experience and market context, and Guangzhou companies can contribute products, services and supply-chain capabilities. This approach is consistent with Nanling Auto’s broader focus on developing an accountable international cooperation network.
On September 2, the delegation attended the Cambodia session of the “2026 Guangzhou Products Go Global · Guangzhou Quality Products Enter ASEAN” promotion event in Phnom Penh. At the event, Ma signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the Guangzhou Overseas Enterprises Chamber of Commerce with the Cambodia Guangdong Chamber of Commerce.
The agreement was concluded between the two chambers, rather than as a vehicle sales contract involving Nanling Auto. Its role is to support continuing communication and resource connections for future trade, investment and industrial cooperation. The framework is intended to give participating companies a more stable channel through which to understand local conditions and explore suitable projects; it does not by itself represent a confirmed order, investment result or exclusive commercial arrangement.
During the business presentation, Ma introduced Nanling Auto’s experience in new-energy vehicle sales, after-sales operations and automotive lifecycle services. The presentation showed how the company combines vehicle distribution experience with vehicle sourcing, inspection, documentation and shipment coordination for international business.
For overseas partners, a sustainable vehicle business requires more than access to products. It also depends on confirming specifications, organizing local sales and delivery processes, preparing service capacity and defining the responsibilities of each party. Nanling Auto’s international work therefore connects its new-car and new-energy vehicle sourcing with practical coordination across the transaction and ownership cycle.
Company-provided event materials state that Nanling Auto has established a company in Phnom Penh and obtained dealership rights for XPENG and AITO in Cambodia. They also describe plans to extend sales points and supporting charging services toward priority cities including Siem Reap and Sihanoukville. The scope and timing of each future location and service facility will depend on local implementation and the relevant commercial and regulatory requirements.
The Cambodia initiative combines local-market cooperation with access to a wider portfolio of Chinese automotive brands. It also provides practical experience that can inform how Guangzhou enterprises approach localization, partner coordination and long-term operations in Southeast Asia.
Following the visit, Nanling Auto plans to continue sharing automotive distribution and service experience while supporting communication among chamber members and Cambodian partners. The priority is to turn high-level dialogue into clearly defined, locally grounded cooperation, with responsibilities and project details confirmed by the organizations involved.
Importers, distributors and business partners seeking information about Nanling Auto’s vehicle sourcing and international cooperation capabilities can contact the Nanling Auto team. Vehicle availability, brand relationships, project scope, local compliance and delivery arrangements remain subject to confirmation for each market and engagement.
