On September 1, 2026, a delegation from the Guangzhou Overseas Enterprises Chamber of Commerce visited the XPENG flagship showroom operated by Nanling Auto’s Cambodian business in Phnom Penh. Ma Chunxin, chairman of Nanling Auto and a member of the delegation, joined the local team in receiving the visitors and introducing the overseas development of Nanling Auto’s automotive operations.

The visit gave chamber members a closer look at how a Chinese automotive business can combine brand representation, local partnerships and customer services in an overseas market. Discussions covered the establishment of the showroom, cooperation with Cambodian partners and the operational support required to bring intelligent electric vehicles closer to local customers.
The delegation toured the newly completed showroom on Hun Sen Boulevard in Phnom Penh. The facility presents XPENG vehicles in a dedicated retail environment and forms part of Nanling Auto’s work with Chinese intelligent electric vehicle brands in Cambodia. Visitors reviewed the showroom layout and discussed how product presentation, customer consultation, delivery and after-sales coordination can be organized locally.
XPENG is also included in Nanling Auto’s online brand portfolio for international vehicle sourcing. The Cambodian showroom, however, represents a local dealership operation rather than an indication that every model displayed online is available in Cambodia. Vehicle range, specifications, stock, pricing and delivery arrangements must be confirmed through the local operating company.
During the visit, Ma explained that Nanling Auto is working with an established Cambodian automotive group through a joint venture. According to company-provided event materials, the cooperation has supported the local introduction of XPENG and AITO and has helped combine brand resources with local market knowledge.
This model brings together Nanling Auto’s vehicle distribution and management experience with a Cambodian partner’s understanding of customers, regulations and day-to-day market operations. For an overseas dealership, brand introduction is only one part of the work. A sustainable operation also requires trained teams, clear sales and delivery processes, service coordination and defined responsibilities between the participating organizations. These elements complement Nanling Auto’s broader automotive sourcing and export services.
Nanling Auto’s Cambodian business plans to expand its sales presence and supporting charging services toward other priority cities, including Siem Reap and Sihanoukville. These locations remain part of a development plan rather than a statement that a complete network is already operating. Timelines, sites and service coverage will depend on local implementation, infrastructure and applicable approvals.
The company also plans to connect with chamber members active in Cambodia’s automotive supply chain. Potential cooperation may involve direct business discussions across sales, services and supporting activities, with the aim of building a stronger local automotive ecosystem. Each project will require separate commercial assessment and agreement; the showroom visit itself does not represent a confirmed order or partnership.
Alongside its work in Cambodia, Nanling Auto is preparing an XPENG flagship showroom in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia. Company-provided information states that the nearly 29,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to open on September 21, 2026, and is planned to combine vehicle display, sales, delivery and after-sales services. The opening date, facility details and operating arrangements should be reconfirmed at publication if the article is released after the scheduled launch.
The Cambodia and Malaysia developments form part of Nanling Auto’s wider international market network. Company materials also identify Uzbekistan among the countries where it has helped introduce Chinese intelligent electric vehicle brands. Together, these activities reflect a two-track international approach that combines vehicle export trade with overseas brand and dealership operations.
For Nanling Auto, the Phnom Penh visit was an opportunity to share practical experience with other Guangzhou companies considering overseas development. It highlighted the importance of local partners, market-specific service capability and long-term operational planning when bringing products from a broad Chinese vehicle brand portfolio into a new market.
Nanling Auto plans to continue developing its international automotive business while adapting each project to local customer needs and regulatory conditions. Importers, distributors and prospective partners can contact Nanling Auto to discuss vehicle sourcing or cooperation requirements. Brand relationships, local availability, showroom services, pricing and delivery remain subject to confirmation for each market.
